International Symposium on Korean Music:
New Trends on Research and Performance

The International
Symposium on Korean Music: New Trends on Research and Performance is a
one day event that aims to bring together researchers, students, performers and
filmmakers who share an interest in traditional, art and popular Korean music
practices. Hosted by the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) and
co-organized by Barcelona Music Museum, GRINMA (Asian Musics Research Group)
and ESMUC, this symposium is framed in a cycle of activities related to a Korean
Music exhibit that will take place during the whole cycle 2017-2018 at the
Barcelona Music Museum of Barcelona.
